Проект планетарной туманности для созвездия Близнецы.
Создание туманности планируется на основе двойной звездной системы HD 62721 (прямое восхождение: 07ч 46м 07,45с; склонение: +18° 30' 36,02").
Переливаясь всеми оттенками спектра, вытянутый силуэт зайца словно плывет в пространстве по волнам времени. Ничто вокруг не может потревожить заячьего сна длиною в сто тысяч лет.
Изящно удлиненную форму CAPOS(PN) 0018 можно будет наблюдать среди звезд Северного неба в декабре-январе.
"Sleeping Hare"
Planetary nebula project for Gemini Constellation.
A nebula is expected to form from the binary star system HD 62721 (right ascension: 07h 46m 07.45s; declination: + 18° 30' 36.02").
Radiating all shades of the spectrum, the elongated silhouette of a hare seems to float in space along the waves of time. Nothing around can disturb the hare’s sleep lasting a hundred thousand years.
The elegantly stretched CAPOS(PN) 0018 can be seen among the stars of the Northern celestial hemisphere in December and January.
