Проект планетарной туманности в созвездии Феникс.
Создание туманности планируется на основе двойной звездной системы HD 2261 (прямое восхождение: 00h 26m 17.00s; склонение: –42° 18' 22.0").
Динамику силуэту туманности придает зеркальная симметрия заячьих ушей. Возникает эффект вращения, поддерживаемый легким смещением колец относительно центра туманности.
Несмотря на то, что в основном Феникс — это созвездие Южного неба, есть вероятность, что CAPOS(PN) 0006 может проблескивать над территорией России, над самой линией горизонта в Дагестане.
Planetary nebula project for Phoenix Constellation.
A nebula is expected to form from the binary star system HD2261 (right ascension: 00h 26m 17.00s; declination: -42° 18’ 22.0”).
Mirror symmetry of hare ears making the nebula silhouette more vigorous and makes it seem as if rotating, and the minor offset of the rings against the nebula center enhance this effect further.
Although Phoenix is mainly a constellation of the Southern sky, CAPOS(PN) 0006 is likely to flicker over Russia and the very skyline in Dagestan.
